New Car Service Between New York City and Hamptons Launched
The service will allow customers to pre-book transport between the Hamptons and New York City.
GroundLink, the New York City-based, tech-enabled black car service, recently launched Hamptons Private Driver, a new, scheduled car service that will operate fixed-priced transportation between New York City and The Hamptons.
Customers in New York City will now be able to use the service to pre-book door-to-door transport to and from the Hamptons.
The service will be available throughout the summer via the company’s mobile app, at http://www.groundlink.com/hamptons, or by calling the company’s 24/7 reservations line at 1 -855-231-9684.

One-way, per-person rates start at $58 (based on six passengers riding in an SUV).
Transport from New York City in a three-person luxury sedan to and from Southampton will cost $249 (each way) and at $275 (each way) to and from Montauk and East Hampton.

The six-person, SUV-class vehicle will cost $349 (each way) to and from Southampton and $375 (each way) to and from Montauk and East Hampton (tips, tolls, taxes and gratuity are additional).
GroundLink’s app and website will allow customers to select their pick up and drop off locations for Hamptons Private Driver using nearby airports, venues, addresses or their ride history.
Customers can also track their car and driver from the time the driver is dispatched until they are dropped off at their destination, using the GroundLink mobile app or a link provided in SMS car location alerts sent to them.
The launch of Hamptons Private Driver is in response to GroundLink customers requesting private car service directly from their office or home to their destination of choice in the Hamptons.
The service provides a private alternative to coach or train service.
“With our new Hamptons Private Driver service, consumers don’t have to chance their precious weekend getaway or summer vacation time with an on-demand service in hopes that a car might be available. They can schedule their ride exactly when they wish to leave,” Liz Carisone, CEO of GroundLink said. “They also won’t have to deal with the unpleasant sticker shock of surge pricing during high demand summer weekends and holidays.”
In addition to the luxury sedan and SUV-class vehicles, Hamptons Private Driver also offers the option of travel in a VIP Sedan, Mercedes, or Van.
