Owner of New York City Restaurant Found Dead at East Hampton Home
Police found the famed owner on Thursday morning.

The owner of French restaurant Chez Josephine in Manhattan was found by police dead inside his car at his East Hampton home on Thursday morning, according to a New York Post report.
Jean-Claude Baker, 71, had committed suicide after battling with depression for many years, according to the report. It is still unknown exactly how he died.

Friends of Baker said that while he had a ’larger-than-life’ personality, he was suffering from severe depression, according to the report.
