The 67th annual Artists and Writers Charity Softball game took place last Saturday at Herricks Park in East Hampton.
At this year’s game, the Artists beat the Writers 7-4.

This year’s game benefited East End Hospice, Eleanor Whitmore Early Childhood Center, Phoenix House Academy and The Retreat.
The Choral Society of the Hamptons sang the National Anthem at the gaem.

The game co-organizers were Leif Hope and (Architect) Ronnette Riley.
Some of the participants included: game announcer James Lipton, third base umpire Ray Kelly, Dan Nevins from The Wounded Warrior Project, who pitched the first ball, game sound engineers Chris and Brian Pfund of Quantum Sound Systems, and Landscape Architect Edmund Hollander.
Other attendees included: Executive Director Loretta K. Davis and Director of Development for The Retreat Maggie Goldfarb, Dan Rattiner, Ken Auletta, Game Administrator Jane Iselin and her Family, JCOH’s Cantor Debra Stein, Walter Bernard, Erica Smitheman (Red Thread Good Coffee), East Hampton Village Mayor Paul Rickenbach, Jr.,Channel 12’s Elisa DiStefano, East Hampton Village Police Officers Robert Greene and Chris Jack, Hon. Richard Loeb, Molly and Sylvia Channing (Channing Daughters Winery).
