The drill, which was hosted by Montauk Fire Department Chief Joseph Lenahan, simulated a boating accident with six missing people.
An important part of the drill was the Incident Command System, a communications management system designed to enable effective and efficient domestic incident management by integrating a combination of equipment, personnel, procedures and communications operating from multiple agencies within a common organizational structure.
