Pierson Middle School Named Reward School

The school was one of 364 schools to receive the honor by the State Department of Education.

Pierson Middle School in Sag Harbor has been named as a Reward School for the 2015-2016 school year by the New York State Department of Education.

β€œWe are pleased and honored to have been recognized with this distinction by the Department of Education,” Superintendent of Schools Katy Graves said. β€œWe could not have done it without the hard work and dedication of our teachers, administration and students as well as the support of our community.”

The prestigious award recognizes the middle school’s educational excellence and students’ performance.
