Pierson Students 'Just Say No' to Bullying

Students vowed to be kind to one another during Red Ribbon Week.

SAG HARBOR, NY — During a time when bullying is a critical concern for students nationwide, students at Pierson Middle School recently pledge to "Just Say No" to destructive behavior and bullying.

Students in the Sag Harbor School District vowed to make healthy choices and be kind to one another during Red Ribbon week this week.

Activities for students included theme days, where kids wore pajamas to school and dressed up as superheroes.

In addition, students were engaged in anti-bullying and team building exercises, participated in yoga classes, decorated their classrooms with representations of health choices during lunch, and watched the documentary "Bullied", according to a release.
