Police: Amagansett Man Busted For Second DWI Arrest
The arrest was made on Sunday morning.

An Amagansett man with a prior DWI arrest was arrested on a DWI charge in East Hampton Village on Sunday morning, according to East Hampton Village Police.
While on patrol, officers noticed a car traveling westbound on Woods Lane with the passenger tail light out at about 1:20 a.m., police said.
Police followed the car on Woods Lane and Montauk Highway and stopped the car around 100 Montauk Highway after seeing the car failing to maintain its lane and traveling at 43 mph in a 30 mph zone, according to police.

The driver, identified as Angel Balboa Tenezaca, 42, was ”unable to produce” a valid driver’s license and a DMV check showed he had his license suspended for failing to pay a fine and also had his license revoked for a previous DWI arrest, police said.
During the investigation, the officer ”smelled an odor of an alcoholic beverage” coming from Tenezaca’s breath and noticed his eyes were bloodshot, police said.

The officer performed standardized field sobriety tests, which Tenezaca failed, according to police.
He was arrested for DWI, first degree aggravated unlicensed operation and several traffic infractions, according to police.
He was transported to headquarters for processing.
