Police: Bridgehampton Men Charged With Drug Possession at Sobriety Checkpoint

Two Bridgehampton men were arrested for drug possession at a sobriety checkpoint in Southampton on Sunday morning, according to State Police.

The two men, both 27-years-old of Bridgehampton, were arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana at about 1:05 a.m. at a checkpoint on Sunrise Highway (Eastbound Rest Area), police said.

They were released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Southampton Town Court.
