Police: Celebrity Chef Todd English Arrested for DWI in Southampton

Celebrity chef Todd English, the mastermind behind a slew of restaurants across the country, was arrested and charged with DWI in Southampton early Sunday morning.

English, 54, was arrested at 3:33 a.m. on County Road 39, according to Southampton Town Police, who did not release any other details on the circumstances of the arrest.

English has authored several cookbooks and has appeared on numerous TV shows, including his own cooking show, ”Food Trip With Todd English.”

English appeared in Southampton Town Justice Court Sunday and posted $1,500 bail, officials said.

English’s lawyer, Eddie Burke Jr., refuted the DWI allegation and said in a statement, “We look forward to addressing this matter in a court of law,” the NY Daily News reported.
