Police: East Hampton Man Arrested After Domestic Abuse

An East Hampton man was arrested after a domestic dispute with his wife on Wednesday afternoon, according to East Hampton Village Police.

Police responded to the home of Christopher Mcerlean, 32, on Pleasant Lane in response to a report of a possible domestic dispute at about 12:30 p.m., according to police.

Upon arrival, police spoke to his wife who said were just involved in a ”physical altercation,” according to police.

Mcerlean was arrested for obstruction of breathing and second degree harassment, police said.
