Police: Heroin, Cocaine Found in Car During East Hampton Traffic Stop

A 21-year-old woman was arrested Tuesday afternoon, police say.

A New Jersey woman was arrested in East Hampton on drug charges on Tuesday afternoon, according to East Hampton Town Police.

After a vehicle and traffic stop on Middle Highway at about 1:30 p.m., Kori R. Fleishman, 21, who was driving with a suspended license, was found to have cocaine and heroin inside her car, police said.

She was taken into custody and charged with two counts of third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia, and second degree aggravated unlicensed operation, according to police.

Fleishman will be arraigned in court on Wednesday morning.

The investigation is still ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call the East Hampton Town Police Department at 631-537-7575. All calls will be kept confidential.
