Sag Harbor Elementary School Hosts Moving Up Ceremony

The event celebrated the fifth-grade students who will be moving up to middle school.

The Class of 2022 officially completed their years as Sag Harbor elementary school students following the fifth-grade celebration ceremony held on June 19.

During the event, the 86 students stood to share their favorite memories from elementary school and sang several songs.

Before receiving their diplomas, Principal Matthew Malone shared some parting words, reminding the students that as they move onto middle school it is always “better to know questions than to have all the answers,” and to always be good to others.
