Sag Harbor Elementary School Students Take Trip to Project Adventure

The students participated in several activities during the trip.

To build self esteem and foster teamwork among fourth and fifth graders, the Sag Harbor Elementary School recently sponsored a student field trip to Project Adventure at Camp Quinipet on Shelter Island.

During the field trip, students took part in a variety of activities that were designed to physically challenge them while also strengthening cooperation, problem solving and personal confidence.

Activities included working together to balance as group on a giant seesaw, navigating a triangular rope course and maneuvering across ropes without letting teammates fall.
