Sag Harbor Students Celebrate Black History with 'Selma'
The students went to view the film earlier last week.

To celebrate Black History Month, Pierson High School students visited the Sag Harbor Movie Theater earlier this month, where they viewed the film, βSelma,β a 2014 historical drama, which is based on the 1965 voting rights marches led by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
The district hopes that by viewing the film, students gained a global perspective and an understanding of cultural responsiveness.
