Shelter Island Fireworks To Return This Saturday

The 58th annual Shelter Island Fireworks will return this Saturday despite almost being cancelled earlier this year.

The event will take place at Crescent Beach and will feature fireworks by Grucci.

The Shelter Island Chamber of Commerce originally “cancelled” the fireworks due to lack of donations and funding.

However, after a local resident started a GoFundMe campaign to raise money back in March, a total of $38,700 was donated to bring back the fireworks.
