Springs Mystery Art Sale

Art Sale

For the second year Springs School’s PTA is holding it’s most successful fundraiser called the Springs Mystery Art Sale at Ashawagh Hall from April 29th to May 2nd. It is modeled after the world famous event at the Royal College of Art in London.

The pieces of 5x7 art will be displayed anonymously and sold for $20 each throughout the week, culminating in a reception Saturday May 2nd (2 – 5 p.m.) with music and locally baked donations. The party will include a silent and live auction Saturday at 3:00. The mystery will be revealed at the end of the exhibition where the buyers (children, parents, artists, and serious collectors) will discover whether they have invested in a valuable piece of art from a well known artist (or celebrity) or a potential masterpiece from a student artist. The entire community comes together in anticipation of this event.

All proceeds directly enhance art’s education at Springs School, including the Visiting Artist Program, which has inspired hundreds of students, while supporting local artists.
