Springs School Growing Concerned Over Increased Enrollment
The school has seen an increase of almost 200 students in the past 10 years.

Springs School has seen an increase in enrollment over the past 10 years, according to The East Hampton Star.
In 2004, the school had 555 students enrolling, but as of last week, the school has 736 students enrolling, The East Hampton Star reports. Overall, the district has 1,100 from kindergarten to 12th grade.
During the Springs School board meeting on Monday, officials expressed concern over with the increasing enrollment would mean for the schoolβs budget next season.

βWeβre at 101 percent capacity,β Principal Eric Casale, who gave a presentation on scheduling and enrollment at the meeting, told The East Hampton Star. βEvery space is being used creatively β and then some.β
