State Police Report: Two Arrests For Possession Of Marijuana
A list of recent crime activity as reported by the state police

State Police-Riverside reported the following arrests over the past week:
A 59-year-old woman of the Shinnecock Indian Reservation was arrested on Wednesday, Sept. 24 for assault in the third degree following an altercation. She was arraigned in the Southampton Town Court and released on her own recognizance.
A 31-year-old Cutchogue woman was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after being stopped for unlawfully tinted windows on Osprey Avenue in Riverhead on Thursday, Sept. 25. She was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Riverhead Court at a later date.

A 53-year-old Greenport woman was arrested for criminal possession of marijuana in the fifth degree. She was arrested on Friday, Sept. 26 after being stopped for speeding on Cox Lane in Southold. The woman was released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Southold Court at a later date.
A 53-year-old Riverside man was arrested following a domestic incident on Sunday, Sept. 28. He was arrested for assault in the third degree and criminal obstruction of breathing and was held overnight and arraigned in the Southampton Town Court. The man was remanded to the Suffolk County Jail on $10,000 bail.
