State Police Report: Two DWI Arrests, Two Drug-Related Arrests

State Police-Riverside report the following arrests in the area over the past week:

• M. L. Gilbert III, 21, of Riverhead, was arrested on Monday, June 22 for unlawful possession of marijuana after being stopped for a traffic violation on CR-104 northbound at the traffic circle in Riverside. Gilbert was released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Southampton Court on July 1.

• Joseph R. Pastorello, 60, of Amagansett, was arrested on Tuesday, June 23 for unlawful possession of marijuana after being stopped for speeding on State Route 27 west of exit 63 in Westhampton. Pastorello was released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Southampton Court on July 6.

• Michael Hartman, 24, of Mastic, was arrested on Saturday for DWI after being stopped for traffic violations on State Route 27 westbound east of Exit 58 in Mastic. Hartman was released on traffic tickets returnable to the First District Court on July 10.

• Paul Sturges Jr., 39, of Huntington, was arrested on Saturday for driving while ability impaired by alcohol after being involved in a single vehicle auto accident on State Route 27 west of Exit 66 in Hampton Bays. Sturges was released on traffic tickets returnable to Town of Southampton Court on July 15.
