Tiny Woodworkers Learn The ABCs Of Construction In Sag Harbor
Could these little woodworkers be any cuter?

SAG HARBOR, NY — Some tiny woodworkers learned the basics recently during a science lesson that helped explain the ABCs of construction.
Sag Harbor Elementary School preschoolers in Susan Raebeck’s class recently discovered the many uses of wood, as well as tested its absorbency and buoyancy, a release from the district said.
They also made particle boards and plywood using sawdust, wood shavings and glue. The lesson additionally incorporated a building component where students constructed wooden structures using glue, hammers and nails —a lesson enjoyed by all that fostered a sense of accomplishment.
