Two Hospitalized After Laurel Crash
One woman who was hospitalized was arrested on a DWI charge, police say.
An East Hampton woman was arrested on a DWI charge after an accident that left two people hospitalized in Laurel on Friday morning, according to Southold Town Police.
Lauren Steel, 26, was involved in car accident at 475 Franklinville Road at about 7:20 a.m., police said.
Police found that she was driving while drunk and was arrested for DWI, police said.

Steel was transported to Peconic Bay Medical Center for treatment, police said.
The driver of the other car was also transported to Peconic Bay Medical Center, police said.
