Two Reportedly Hospitalized After Head On Collision in East Hampton Village

Two people were hospitalized after a head on collision between a landscaping truck carrying a trailer and an SUV in East Hampton Village on Friday afternoon, according to a report in 27east.

The driver of the Whitmore’s Landscaping truck told police his brakes failed while driving west along Route 27 by the Highway Restaurant and Bar, which caused him to crash into the Lexus SUV heading eastbound at about 12 p.m., according to the report.
