Cops: East Meadow Bank Teller Altered Withdrawal Slip to Steal Cash
Suffolk County woman altered withdrawal slip and took cash from bank register, cops said.

An East Meadow bank teller faces charges for altering bank documents to take money from a customer’s account, according to Nassau County Police.
Tiffany Harper, 34, of Central Islip, processed a withdrawal for a customer on Aug. 16, 2014 at Chase Bank on Hempstead Turnpike, cops said.
After the transaction was completed, Harper altered the amount written on the withdrawal slip from $1,200 to $4,200, police said. She then took the $3,000 difference from the bank register for herself, police said.
