Cops Release Photo of Suspected Westbury Bank Robber
Man believed to be responsible for robbery at Bethpage Federal Credit Union on Old Country Road in October.

Nassau County Police released a surveillance photo of a man they said robbed a Westbury bank last month.
The photo, released Friday by police, shows the man inside Bethpage Federal Credit Union on Old Country Road at 1:50 p.m. Oct. 8.
While inside the bank, the man passed a demand note to a teller, who cooperated with his demands and handed over an unknown amount of cash, cops said. The man then fled south on Westbury Drive on foot, police said.

Six employees and three customers were inside the bank at the time. No one was reportedly injured.
The robber is described as a white man, 35-40 years old, 6-foot-1, with blond hair. He was wearing a blue baseball cap, gray sweatshirt, and jeans at the time.

Detectives are asking anyone with information to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
