Cornell Cooperative Extension of Nassau County to host 4th Annual Fall Festival - September 18-19,2015

Join Cornell Cooperative Extension of Nassau County as we host our 4th Annual Fall Harvest Festival at the Horticulture Center and Demonstration Gardens at East Meadow Farm.

Date and Time:  Friday, September 18, 2015, 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM and Saturday, September 19, 2015, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Location: Horticulture Center and Demonstration Gardens at East Meadow Farm, 832 Merrick Avenue, East Meadow, NY 11554

We will have locally grown veggies, cookies and quiche. Also available will be apples, roasted corn, apple cider donuts, popcorn and more.

There will be activities for children. Some of the activities include Story Telling, Build a Fairy Garden, Pumpkin Picking and much more.

Throughout the day, there will be tours of our gardens, lectures by Master Gardeners, demonstrations by Nutrition Educators, and a “gently used” flea market. Vendors will also be on site.
