East Meadow and Bethpage girls bring FLG Lacrosse to the next level

FLG Lacrosse raises its game to the next level with some help from East Meadow and Bethpage all stars!

Another great summer season has come to a close for FLG Lacrosse!

Bethpage natives Jessica Losquadro, Talia Maccarino, Alexa Ritchie and Manhattan commit Jillan Mayr helped bring the 2017 team to the next level this summer. Losquadro was shut down on defense and a huge help to the transition. "With her speed and skill level, once the ball is in her stick it's safe to say she will get it to the offensive end safely." said director Robyn Pastuch. Alexa and Talia were lethal on the offensive end picking corners all summer while Jillian was able to secure the ball on the draw time after time. GinaMarie Wilson and Gabrielle Piccolo (East Meadoq) brought some of their flair to the offensive end with their slipery dodges that were un-markable by opposing defenses.  These girls will be missed next summer as they continue on with their HS and college careers.

The 2018 team was guided by some strong athletes from the East Meadow area. Alexa Festa, Celina Lo, Brianna Pota, Natalia Reyes and Jenna Stankes were all critical parts to a successful summer for the 2018 girls. On the offensive end Alexa, Brianna and Jenna used their skills to penetrate the defense and put some big time goals in the net! Natalia and Celina held down a solid defensive effort in the blistering heat. We look forward to seeing what's to come from these ladies next season!

Congrats to all of the girls on another great season of FLG Lacrosse!
