The AHRC Annual Foundation Walkathon will be held on Nov. 7 at Eisenhower Park, Field 6A, in East Meadow at 10 a.m. The Walkathon attracts 300-400 walkers each year from local schools, colleges and families and friends of AHRC Nassau. This year's event promises to be another successful fundraiser.
The Nassau County AHRC Foundation supports programs that help children and adults with intellectual and other developmental disabilities reach their fullest potential.

The Walkathon will be held rain or shine, and participants can run or jog the 1.5-mile course. Refreshments will be available. The Grand Marshal of the Walkathon will be KJOY radio's Party Marty. Lucky the Duck will also be there, along with the KJOY Party Van.
Raise $100 or more and be entered into a raffle drawing to win 10 tickets to a screening of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows in 3D and a $50 gift card to buy snacks before the movie! You do not need to be present to win the raffle.
