
Nadia is a teenaged circus acrobat, an orphan searching for her father in 1889. While in France, she meets up with Jean-Coq Raltique, a brilliant inventor. After being rescued at sea by a submarine, they discover high adventure, and an ancient conspiracy that threatens the existence of the human race. Based on the novel "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" by Jules Verne.

*Recommended Audience: This series was commissioned to run on NHK, which is the Japanese PBS. As such, it's generally suitable for all ages; there are moments of relatively harmless sexual innuendo. Near the end, there are some scenes of violence that may scare younger viewers.
