The Art Supervisors Association of Nassau County hosts the opening reception for the annual All-County Art Exhibition on Mar. 20 from 12 noon to 4 p.m. Overall, 39 school districts submitted artwork to be considered for this exhibit, including 212 schools and 384 teachers. The Art Supervisors strive to bring creativity and exposure into art education.
Featuring 1128 students ranging from kindergarten to twelfth grade, printmaking, computer graphics, painting, sculpture, photography and drawing will be showcased at the Ruth S. Harley University Center at Adelphi University in Garden City.
Before the opening reception, 28 senior students will be receiving scholarships. This ceremony begins at 12 noon.
