In conjunction with the East Meadow Public Library and Nassau University Medical Center, Assemblyman Tom McKevitt sponsors a Flu Shot Program for Nassau County residents age 60+ and their spouses. The program will take place on Nov. 19, at the library, 1886 Front St, East Meadow, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pneumonia shots are also available.
Call the District Office at 516-739-5119 between 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. to make an appointment. Appointments will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no out-of-pocket cost to residents for the shots.
