Every Friday the East Meadow Public Library holds their "Feature Films" event. On Apr. 15 at 1 p.m. they will be showing Black Swan (R, 108 mins.), starring Natalie Portman, the recipient of the Golden Globe for Best Actress in this role.
Black Swan shows obsessive ballet dancer Nina after she gets the lead in the infamous "Swan Lake." She is able to embrace the white swan part of the role, but struggles to show her true black swan. Becoming threatened by a new seductive dancer, Nina's life becomes uncontrollable.
This event is free. Children under 17 must be accompanied by an adult to R rated movies.
