Hofstra University's Department of Drama and Dance presents "Intimations for Saxophone" on Oct. 1, 2, 8 and 9, at 8 p.m. at the Black Box Theater, located in the Academic Building.
This 1934 play by Sophie Treadwell is about a young woman's struggle to have her voice heard and to realize sexual fulfillment and maturity in an era when women were suppressed and repressed in a cold and alienating world.
Tickets are $10; $8 for senior citizens 65+ or matriculated non-Hofstra students with ID. Tickets are on sale now.
