The Long Island Road Runners Club (LIRRC) holds its annual Duck Trot on Thanksgiving weekend. The 8K race will be held on Nov. 28 at 9 a.m. in Eisenhower Park in East Meadow.
This event is sanctioned by USA Track & Field and LIRRC. Walkers and physically challenged are welcome to participate.
All club races start at the Field House located behind the tennis courts, near parking field #2 in Eisenhower Park (off Hempstead Tpke in East Meadow). For directions to the park, use the address: 1878 Hempstead Tpke., East Meadow, NY in Yahoo Maps.

$5 - club members
$10 - non-members
$4 - 60 years and over members and physically challenged runners
$5 - First family member, plus $3 for each additional family member
