Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano is offering all veterans and active duty personnel a free round of golf on Veterans Day, Nov. 11, at Eisenhower Park's Blue Course in East Meadow. Those eligible can play either 9 or 18 holes.
Proof of Nassau County residency is required plus either military identification for active duty personnel or discharge papers for veterans. A Nassau County Veterans Leisure Passport is also acceptable. The free offer applies to walk-up games only; no reservations will be taken. Participants are responsible for other applicable charges such as golf cart fees.
