The Jazz Photography of Tony Barboza is presented by EMPL in Collaboration with the Friends of the Library. An Opening Reception will be held on Feb. 6 from 2 to 4 p.m. Light refreshments will be available and music will be provided by flutist Nicole Camacho.
East Meadow resident and internationally renowned photographer Tony Barboza will display his work on jazz artists for the month of February. Mr. Barboza has photographed for Life, Ebony, The National Geographic, Vanity Fair, The Sunday New York Times and many other publications. His work is in galleries and private collections all over the world. An archive of his photography is being created at Cornell University. Tony’s work is in the permanent collections of the Museum of Modern Art, NY, The Brooklyn Museum of Art, The Harlem Studio Museum and museums throughout the United States and the world. Recently he had retrospectives in France and Germany. Now you can see his work at the Library.
