The East Meadow Public Library, in conjunction with Long Island Traditions, will be hosting a performance from Berta Gauto & Panambi Verá, a Paraguayan dance group, on May 22 at 2 p.m.
Gauto, a Paraguay native, moved to Mineola and formed this dance group which means "Golden Butterfly." The group has performed at the United Nations.
