As part of the EMPL Sunday Concert series, the East Meadow Public Library will host the cellist Sebastian Bäverstam on Apr. 10 at 2 p.m.
Sebastian Bäverstam is the winner of the 2009 Concert Artist Guild International Competition and the Boston Symphony Orchestra’s Concerto Competition. He has performed at Carnegie Hall, Merkin Concert Hall and St. Vincent College, among others. He is known for his powerful style on the cello, sure to impress the audience.
