The East Meadow Public Library presents jazz musician Libby Richman on Jan. 9. Her ensemble, the Libby Richman Group, plays original contemporary jazz influenced by classical, Latin and pop music. Ms. Richman has performed in NYC clubs including Birdland, The Bitter End and Sweet Rhythm. According to a press release from EMPL, her second CD was released in 2006 and she is a "Meet the Composer" grant recipient.
