The Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis Network (FAAN) hosts a 3-mile walk to benefit awareness, education, and advocacy programs to find a cure for food allergies. More than 25 million Americans currently suffer from food allergies, among them more than 3 million children. The walk will be held on Oct. 10, from noon to 4 p.m. at Eisenhower Park in East Meadow.
Activities include carnival booths, face painting, and raffles. Please register in advance. There is no fee to register, but donations are accepted.
