Fatal Overdose Leads To Drug Dealer's Arrest: Nassau Police
Officers found two men in Eisenhower Park who had overdosed, and one of them died.

EAST MEADOW, NY — An investigation into a fatal drug overdose led officers to arrest a dealer from Uniondale, police said.
According to detectives, officers were called to Eisenhower Park at 10:50 p.m. on July 3. When they arrived, they found two men who had overdosed on drugs. The two men were taken to a nearby hospital, where one was pronounced dead by a doctor.
An investigation by police, Narcotics detectives and the Long Island Heroin Task Force led to the arrest of Kenneth Parris, 46, of Fenimore Avenue, Uniondale, at 1:15 a.m. on July 4. Police say a large quantity of heroin and other drug paraphernalia were found at his home.

Parris is charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. He was arraigned on July 4 in First District Court in Hempstead.
