Appearances from famed skaters will include Long Island native and 2014 Olympic and World Alternate Samantha Cesario, Olympians and U.S. National Silver Medalists Madison Chock and Evan Bates, and Olympian and Israeli National Champion Alexey Bychenko.
Also appearing on the ice are none other than Santa Claus and his skating elves who will join together to light the Christmas tree.
“It’ll be an exciting night for kids and adults alike, as Long Island will be treated to some spectacular skating from local performers,” said Edward P. Paternostro, president and CEO of NEFCU. “The tree-lighting, the fireworks and the skating all add up to a fun night that we hope will become a part of Long Island’s holiday tradition.
