Kim Sozzi Holds Album Release Party at Zacharys

While some people were busy getting last minute items for their big Thanksgiving feast, others headed down to one to attend the release party of the popular dance singer Kim Sozzi's second album on Thanksgiving Eve.

Fans waited outside to get into the party and once the doors opened the night of dancing and having fun were about to begin. Walking down the stairs to club the sounds of Kim Sozzi's hit songs, such as "Feel Your Love," "Alone" and more, echoed throughout the club. People attending the party received a gift bag filled with the lots of goodies.

The night started with a special opportunity of a meet-and-greet session with Sozzi, the limited tickets were sold prior to the event. Everyone at the meet-and-greet had a great time and individuals were also able to get autographs from Sozzi.

The highlight of the night was an exclusive performance by Kim Sozzi, performing songs from her new album and some of her past hits. The dance floor was filled with people dancing and singing to her songs

"I choose to hold my album release party at Zacharys because I am from Long Island and I want to celebrate home," Sozzi said. She also explained that she was happy to share this night with her family, because now "I am performing earlier than 1 a.m."  

Sozzi also expressed excitement for her new single that is being released.

"I am really excited for my new single 'Rated R,' it has a lot of substance and the listeners can relate to it," Sozzi added. "The bar is raised, and it will be hard to top my last single, but I think we will, with 'Rated R'".

The highly anticipated release of her new single "Rated R" will be available on Dec. 7, and her complete album in January 2011.  For more information about Kim Sozzi's new releases check out her Facebook fan page.
