Magician, "Epic Balloons" Artist, and Best of Long Island Nominee John Reid To Perform For United Cerebral Palsy Association'

October, 2015 (Woodbury, NY) -- Having dazzled and enchanted audiences for over 20 years with his sensational balloon displays and live magic performances, New York based balloon artist and magician John Reid--recently nominated as Best of Long Island’s “Best Artist”--is at it again, this time using his skills to help a great cause! With Epic Balloons, Reid has been able to take his talents everywhere from trade shows and conventions to Disney and The White House, often being called on to teach other balloon twisters and judge balloon sculpting contests. Known for his dazzling balloon dresses and couture designs which were recently featured in Vegas Magazine, John has made over 200 and counting for fashion shows, celebrities, and even a wedding dress! As a magician, he’s also delighted audiences with his comedy magic show combining laughs with fantastic tricks that engage kids through audience participation. And on Saturday, December 19th 2-6PM he’ll be performing at the United Cerebral Palsy Association’s Sugar Plum Ball at Crest Hollow Country Club 8325 Jericho Turnpike, Woodbury, NY 11797!

An internationally recognized, award-winning balloon twister, Reid’s detailed and original sculptures are a hit with children of all ages, and his larger installations have been featured with Disney, the Martha Stewart Show, and The White House, where he has been the president’s balloon twister of choice for their 4th of July celebrations for the past 5 years! John has even made a balloon dress for a rock star, and is also an accomplished magician. With his displays delighting audiences at schools, libraries, corporate events, and private parties along the east coast- for the past 20 years he has also been a lead instructor at Tannen’s Magic Camp, the longest running magic camp in the country where Reid’s workshops have the highest number of repeat students of any instructor at the camp.
