Man Armed With Large Fork Invades Elderly Couple's Nassau County Home: Police
BREAKING: Police say he threatened the couple, then stole their money and jewelry before fleeing Monday evening.

EAST MEADOW, NY – A man forced his way into an elderly couple's East Meadow home, threatened them with a fork and robbed them Monday evening, police said.
A 91-year-old man and his 87-year-old wife were inside their Apple Lane residence at 5:15 p.m. when the woman opened the rear door and observed a man at the door, according to detectives.
The man, armed with a large fork, forced his way into the home, placed the fork to the woman's throat and demanded money, police said. The robber confronted the male victim in the hallway and pushed him to the floor in the bathroom. The robber stole an undisclosed amount of money, credit cards and jewelry before fleeing out the back door in an unknown direction.

No injuries were reported. The robber was described as about 20 years old and clean-shaven.
