Man Tries to Rob Pizza Delivery Man at Knifepoint

The man banged on the window of the car while the delivery man was inside and demanded money, police say.

UNIONDALE, NY - Police are seeking a man who tried to rob a pizza delivery man at knifepoint on Saturday night in Uniondale, according to Nassau Police.

A 43-year-old Domino’s Pizza delivery man was in his car after completing a delivery on Van Buren Street at about 11 p.m.

While counting his money, a man banged on the window and demanded the money, while displaying a knife, police said.

The delivery man put the car in drive and fled. There were no injuries reported.

The man is described as having a thin build and between 16 to 20 years old, police said.
