Nassau Man Arrested For Driving Drunk With Daughters In Car
BREAKING: Police say he was cutting across multiple lanes of traffic when he was pulled over.

A Westbury man was arrested and charged with driving drunk with his two young daughters in the car early Sunday morning.
According to police, Pedro Huerta Garcia, 45, of Bond Street, was driving a 2002 Ford Explorer westbound on Hemsptead Turnpike in East Meadow around 2:30 a.m. Police say he crossed over three lanes of traffic. Police stopped his car and found that he had three passengers in the car, including his 8- and 15-year-old daughters. The children were released to their mother and the car was impounded.
Garcia is charged with two counts of aggravated driving while intoxicated (Leandra's Law), endangering the welfare of a child and driving while intoxicated. He is also charged with multiple traffic violations. He is scheduled to be arraigned on Sunday in First District Court in Hempstead.
