Nassau Man Broke Into 4 Businesses, Stole Cash Registers: Police
Police say he broke into three businesses in the Source Mall and one across the street.
The Nassau County Police Department charged a Westbury man with breaking into four stores and stealing their cash registers on Sunday.
According to police, Gerard Conway, 22, of Westbury Avenue, used a flower pot to break the front glass door of Pizza Hut, located at 61 Old Country Road at 2:30 a.m. on Sunday. Once inside, police say he stole the restaurant's cash register.
A short time later, police say Conway walked across the street, broke into the Source Mall and stole the cash registers from The Cheesecake Factory, Everything Christmas and Toy Terrace Holiday Express.

Conway was arrested at 4:30 p.m. on Monday in Westbury. He is charged with third-degree burglary, and is scheduled to be arraigned today in First District Court in Hempstead.
