Nassau Man Fled Officers, Caused Crash: Police
Police say a passenger in his car was crying and waving for help as the man refused to pull over.

A Nassau man was arrested on Friday after police say he caused a crash after running a red light.
According to police, a 2005 Honda was heading west on Hempstead Turnpike at 9:15 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 28. Police tried to stop the car for multiple vehicle and traffic law violations, but the driver refused to stop, police said. Officers said they saw a woman in the passenger seat screaming, crying and waving her arms in distress.
The driver, Keith Addison, 54, of Greenwich Street, Hempstead, drove through a red light on Uniondale Avenue, police said, and turned onto Front Street. There, he lost control of the car and struck two other cars heading east.
