Retired Suffolk Officer Hit Nassau Officer With His Car: Report
The Nassau officer was trying to issue the retired officer a ticket, and in response he allegedly hit the officer with his car.

A retired Suffolk County police officer was arrested last week after he allegedly hit a Nassau officer with his car as the officer was trying to give him a ticket.
According to News 12, the officer, William Hasper, made a left into the parking lot of a Bethpage Federal Credit Union in Westbury on Feb. 15, and a Nassau County Clerk's officer tried to give him a ticket for an unsafe turn. News 12 says that Hasper then struck the officer with his car multiple times and fled the scene.
News 12 reports that Hasper turned himself in to Nassau Police on Sunday.

Court documents show that Hasper was charged with second-degree assault with the intent to cause physical injury to an officer, leaving the scene of an accident with an injury and three traffic infractions. He is due back in court on Feb. 28.
