Teen Girl Groped While Jogging Near Eisenhower Park

Police released a sketch of the man they're looking for, who was riding his bike as he groped her.

EAST MEADOW, NY — A teenage girl was groped as she was jogging near Eisenhower Park on Sunday, and police are seeking the public's help to find the man responsible.

According to police, an 18-year-old girl was jogging on the bike path outside Eisenhower Park, at Pilgrim Lane and Salisbury Park Drive in Salsibury, at 5:45 p.m. on July 5 when she was approached by a man on a bicycle. The man passed her by and groped her as he did, police said. The woman ran home and the man fled on his bicycle.

The man was white, about 18 to 20 years old, with short dark hair, dark eyes and a thin build. He was wearing a dark blue T-shirt and gray basketball shorts, and was riding a dark-colored mountain bike. A sketch of the man is above.
